The CBS Sisterhood invites women of every age to join us as we put our
heads, hearts and hands to work for the benefit of our community. Our
fund-raising projects have been a little bit of work, a lot of fun, and very
effective. With the proceeds we have paid religious school tuition for some
CBS families, supported children of congregants who travel to Israel,
contributed to the Capital Campaign, the Food Bank, provided
treats for members of the First Baptist Church on Christmas Eve as a
thank-you for our use of their building, and the oneg on erev Rosh HaShanah.
We also present a kiddush cup to each of our bar and bat mitzvah students.
Our current project is a cookbook with recipes contributed by our friends
in Columbia's Christian communities as well as our own members. To
